We would like to invite you to join us for an informal free social event to provide you with the opportunity to interact with other individuals that have also been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia from across our London Support Groups.
As you know, fibromyalgia can be a very lonely, isolating and often misunderstood illness.
We have therefore invited two guest speakers to give a brief talk regarding a few self-management techniques that may give you an introductory insight to help live with Fibromyalgia.
Our two speakers are:
- Hope Bastine: Trained Psychotherapist, Yoga and Mindfulness teacher Cognitive Behavioural Therapy & Mindfulness
Hope will give a presentation on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and a brief Mindfulness demonstration. - Alice Draycott: Chronic Pain Physiotherapist at St George’s Hospital
The event will be held from 12:00-15:00 on Saturday 21st May at Kingwood House in Dulwich with the first speaker beginning promptly at 12:30.
Refreshments will be provided. Family and Friends are most welcome
We look forward to seeing you.
